VioScreen is simple for patients to use.
VioScreen is a web-based system allowing your patients to access it any time to enter data. Patients are asked to select foods consumed at least once a month over the past 3 months. Comprehensive lists provide memory prompts, allowing much more data to be captured. Once a food item is selected, VioScreen digs deeper. Patients select frequency and portion size and VioScreen branches to collect more relevant data.
For example, if a user indicates "bagel," VioScreen inquires if butter is typically used. Or if the user lists "coffee," VioScreen prompts to see if sugar or milk is added, and if so, what kind of milk. Handwritten food records could easily miss these important sources of fat and cholesterol in the diet.
